A chick
There is a chick living in the forest. He is only one month old. but, he wants to be chick king. So he began his way to California.
He ran and ran. After some time, he felt very thirsty and hungry. So he went to a lake and drunk some water. And he ate many mosquitoes too.
At last, he got California. It was deep night when he got there. He had to fly to the tree and slept there. In the morning, he woke up. He found a snake in front of him. He is very afraid. but at that moment, he remembered he had wings. So he flied to the ground.
On the ground, there were a lot of ants.Thechick was full, so he didn’t want to eat ants. The ants said to him: “you don’t eat us, you are so kind !” after some time, his stomach was empty. He wanted to eat ants. but he thought if he ate ants, it was very embarrassed . So he gave it up and decided to find some mosquitoes. So the chick and ants became very good friends and went away together.
一只小鸡
森林里生活着一只小鸡，他虽然很小，才一个月大。但他却想着成为鸡王。于是他踏上了前往加利福尼亚的征程。
他跑呀跑。过了一段时间后，他感到又饿又渴。于是他走到小湖边喝了些水，又在湖边捉了些蚊子吃。
最后，他来到了加利福尼亚。天已是深夜，他不得不飞到树上去睡。早上，当他醒来的时候，他突然发现一条蛇正在他的面前。他非常害怕，就在那时候，他记起了自己能飞。于是他飞到了地面上。
在地面上，有一群蚂蚁。小鸡这时还饱着呢，所以他不想去吃蚂蚁。蚂蚁们对他说：“你不吃我们，你真的很善良！”可过了一会，他的胃空了起来，他有点想吃蚂蚁了。可想起如果现在又吃蚂蚁，那将很尴尬，于是便放弃了。就这样小鸡和蚂蚁变成了很好的朋友，一起向前走了。
